PAUL D.  “MARK” ELSWICK II, 48 years of age of Big Rock, Virginia, passed away February 26, 2010.  Born in Tazewell County, Virginia, he was the son of Paul D. Elswick and his step mother Janne of Big Rock, VA and Emma Jean Skeens Addington and his step-father Edward of Grundy, Virginia. 

He was a 1979 graduate of Grundy Senior High School Class of 1979 and was an Insurance Adjustor. 

He is survived by his father Paul D. Elswick and his Step-mother Janne Elswick of Big Rock, VA

His mother, Emma Jean Skeens Addington and his step-father Edward Addington of Grundy, VA, Two Daughters: AudriOnna Elswick, High Point, NC, Laoren Sydney Elswick, Belcher, KY, Three Sisters: Nancy Carol and her husband Roy Sims, Ooltawah, TN,    Melissa Elswick and her husband Corey Davis, Church Hill, TN, Maranda Jade Elswick, Big Rock, VA, Two Brothers: Billy Joe and his wife Penny Elswick, Heflin, AL, Todd and his wife Susan Elswick, Big Rock, VA, Two Step Sisters: Tammy and her husband Mike Fletcher, Harman, VA, Pam and her husband Ralph Monk, Richlands, VA, Two Step Brothers: Dean and his wife Kathy Addington, Wise, VA, Bobby and his wife Roxanne Bradley, Racine, WI.

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one step brother – Eddie Addington.

Funeral services for PAUL D. “MARK” ELSWICK II will be conducted Monday, March 1, 2010 1:00 P.M. at the New Hope Christian Church with Evg. William L. Neeley and Rev. Eddie Wilson officiating with burial to follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, at Big Rock, VA 

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel after 6:00 P.M. Sunday and there will be services Sunday evening at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be nephews.

Mr. Elswick will be moved to the New Hope Christian Church Monday at 11:00 A.M. to await the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M.
