PAULINE LOONEY LOVELL, of Staunton, VA, formerly of Richlands, VA, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 at the Page Memorial Hospital in Luray, VA, following an extended illness.

Ms. Lovell was born in (Roseann, VA) Buchanan County on September 8, 1927, to the daughter of the late Hufford Enoch and Maude Lane Looney of Roseann, VA. She attended Hurley High School, was a proud housewife, an honored member of the Loch Lomond Baptist Church of Manassas, VA, as well as a retiree of V&V Restaurant, Richlands, VA.

Ms. Lovell was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Riland Harold Lovell, Sr. She was the loving mother of 8-Children: Riland Harold Lovell, Jr., (preceded in death), Staunton, VA; Gary Frederick Lovell, Stanton, VA; Sharon Constance Lovell, Manassas, VA; Gregory Alan Lovell, Roseann, VA; Brenda Cheryl Walters, Luray, VA; Robin Shea Beverlin, Front Royal, VA; Stanley Terrence Lovell, Staunton, VA; and Timothy Aaron Lovell, Staunton, VA.

Ms. Lovell was survived by 1-Brother: Dorsey Merton Looney, Roseann, VA. She was preceded in death by 2-Sisters and 1-Brother: Madeline Looney Coleman, Charlottesville, VA, Betty Lou (Tootsie) Looney, Roseann, VA, and George Arnold Looney, Grundy, VA. She was survived by five loving grandchildren: Roschina Shamaine Lovell, Reston, VA; Kenneth Carl Reynolds, II, Centreville, VA; Christopher Sean Beverlin, Front Royal, VA; William Riland Lovell, Lexington, VA; Jonathan Alexander Lovell, Manassas, VA; 5-Great-Grandchildren: Kasidi Shea Lovell Jordan, Gabrielle Alexandra Lovell, Jeremiah, Melina and Emma Grace Beverlin. Ms. Lovell has one brother-in-law: William B. Beverlin and 1 Sister-in-Law: Sharon Lovell with many loving nieces and nephews. We all will miss her!!

Funeral Services for PAULINE LOONEY LOVELL will be conducted Thursday, September 4, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charles Jolley, Luray Baptist Church, Luray, VA, officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA. Special remarks will be given by Grandchildren Shena, Kenny, Christopher, William and others.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. with services at 7:30 P.M. conducted by Evg. Dennis Wimmer.
