PEGGY LOU DEEL, 63 years of age of the Watkins Branch Section of Grundy, VA, passed away at Buchanan General Hospital Friday, July 9, 2010 from a extended illness. Born in Buchanan County she was the daughter of the late Albert and Estel McGennis Rowe.  She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and a  member of the Fountain of Life Tabernacle.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and was a formerly employed as a Home Health Provider.   

Ms. Deel was preceded in death by her husband James Willard Deel  – September 1, 2008. 

Ms. Deel was survived by:  3-Daughters: Cathy and husband Sidney Clevinger, Jr., Harman, VA, Sherri and husband Ed Thompson, Fort White, FL, Phyllis Hurley and Special Friend James,  Grundy, VA; 3-Sisters: Susie Preston, Inez, KY, Virginia Matthews, Inez, KY, Shirley Elkins, Gray, TN; 2-Brothers: Raymond Rowe, Tommy Hawk, KY, Jay Rowe, Grundy, VA.  Also, survived by 8-Grandchildren.

Also preceded in death by 1-Sister Debby Rowe and 3-Brothers:  Elzie, Billy, and Gee Rowe.

Funeral Services for PEGGY LOU DEEL will be conducted Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Grundy Funeral Home Chapel by Ministers Terry Colley, 0Don Ashby and Shea Shrader officiating with burial to follow in the Rose Cemetery on Lower Mill Branch, Grundy, VA. 

Friends may call at the Fountain of Life Tabernacle Sunday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services Sunday and Monday evenings at 7:00 P.M. with the body being moved back to Grundy Funeral Home after services to await the Funeral on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 1:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be the Family and Friends.
