REMONA DOTSON SARGENT, 43 years of age of Hurley, VA, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Wellmont Bristol Regional Hospice House, Bristol, TN, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of Betty Hurley Dotson, Paw Paw, KY, and the late James Estil Dotson. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and sister and was a wonderful homemaker.

Mrs. Sargent was preceded in death by her loving husband of 26-years, Randall “Sarg” Sargent, January 9, 2011

She is survived by 3-Sons: Andrew Dean and wife Angie Sargent, Grundy, VA, Ryan Heath Sargent and fiancé Tiffany Blankenship, Hurley, VA, Jeremy “Baby” Randall Sargent, Hurley, VA, 3-Sisters: Barbara Cole, Paw Paw, KY, Eva Gail and husband Johnny Dotson, Paw Paw, KY, Nancy Dotson and fiancé Daniel “Jake” Lester, Paw Paw, KY, 3-Brothers: Calvin and wife Kathleen Dotson, Paw Paw, KY, Marvin and wife Cathy Dotson, Hurley, VA, James Ray “Bubba” Dotson and fiancé Clara Jo Meade, Cave Run, KY, Mother-in-Law: Nancy Mitchum Sargent, Hurley, VA

Also, survived by several Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by 1-Sister: Wanda Sue Dotson; 1-Brother: Stanley Dotson; 1-Nephew: Marvin Alex Dotson; Father-in-Law: Turner Sargent.

Funeral Services for REMONA DOTSON SARGENT will be conducted Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mill Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Ministers Michael Casey, Jimmy Kerr and Kenny Jackson officiating with burial to follow in the Dotson Cemetery on Colley Fork of Paw Paw, KY.

Friends may call at the Mill Fork Freewill Baptist Church Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Volunteers and Staff of the Wellmont Bristol Regional Hospice House.
