RONALD LEE JACKSON, 50 years of age of Pilgrims Knob, VA, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, TN, following an extended illness. Born in Orrville, OH, he was the son of Lorraine Horne Jackson, Pilgrims Knob, VA, and the late Elbert Jackson, Jr. He was a resident of Buchanan County most of his life and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Jackson graduated from Whitewood High School class of 1975 and was an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 749 of the Boy Scouts of America. He was a devoted husband, loving father and was a Truck Driver for GASCO Drilling Inc.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife of 26-years: Brenda Harris Jackson, Pilgrims Knob, VA, 2-Sons: Ronald Mark Jackson, Pilgrims Knob, VA, John Henry Jackson, Pilgrims Knob, VA, 2-Sisters: Bonnie Lou Hackworth, Jewell Valley, VA, Anita Nicole “Nikki” Jackson, Pilgrims Knob, VA

Also, survived by 1-Niece: Tonya Hackworth and 2-Nephews: Jamie & Jordan Hackworth.

He was preceded in death by 1-Brother: Darrell Jackson.

Funeral Services for RONALD LEE JACKSON will be conducted Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andy Maynard officiating with burial to follow in the Esau Rife Cemetery, Keen Mountain, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Friday evening at 7:00 P.M.
