ROSA VIOLA ELSWICK McGLOTHLIN NORMAN, 88 years of age of Vansant, VA, passed away Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Tazewell Community Hospital, Tazewell, VA, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late M.B. and Cansas Vanover Elswick. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the Fountain of Life Tabernacle. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

Mrs. Norman was preceded in death by her first husband: Jefferson McGlothlin and her second husband: Homer Norman.

She is survived by 2-Daughters: Shelby Jean Deel, Claypool Hill, VA, Betty Lou Vandyke, Whitewood, VA, 2-Sons: Kermit Lee and wife Brenda McGlothlin, Vansant, VA, Leonard Ray McGlothlin and fiancé Wanda, Vansant, VA, 1-Sister: Gertrude Elswick Norman, Vansant, VA

Also, survived by 7-Grandchildren and 3-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2-Sisters and 5-Brothers.

Funeral Services for ROSA VIOLA ELSWICK McGLOTHLIN NORMAN will be conducted Monday, July 28, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at the Fountain of Life Tabernacle, Vansant, VA, with Brothers: Terry Colley and Dale Dotson officiating with burial to follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, VA.

Friends may call at the Fountain of Life Tabernacle, Vansant, VA, Sunday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be: Family and Friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Staff of Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Tazewell, VA.
