ROSE HUDSON, 95 years of age of the Home Creek Section of Grundy, VA, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at his home following an extended illness. Born in Newton Falls, OH, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Louvina Rutter Hudson. Ms. Hudson attended the Pentecostal Church of God.

She is survived by her friends whom she made her home with: Herman and wife Lucille Lester and Sirena Slone of Home Creek.

She was preceded in death by 2-Sisters: Helen Hudson and Ruth Hudson; 4-Brothers: Leonard Hudson, Herman Hudson, Theo Hudson and Bernard Hudson.

Funeral Services for ROSE HUDSON will be conducted Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jessie Taylor officiating with burial to follow in the Riley Family Cemetery on the Left Fork of Home Creek, near Grundy, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
