SHERRY ANN STILTNER HURLEY, 49 years of age of Big Rock, VA, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the UVA’s Hospital, Charlottesville, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, VA, she was the daughter of Adelene Clevinger of Poplar Creek, Grundy, VA and the late David Anderson Stiltner.  She was a life-time resident of Buchanan County and was of the Christian Faith.  She was the former Assistant Manager of Hardees and also had worked at the Rainbow Restaurant as a waitress.   

Mrs. Hurley is survived by her husband Rickey Junior Hurley of Big Rock, VA; 1-Daughter: Tonya Adelene Hurley, Big Rock, VA; 1-Son: Ricky Allen Hurley, Big Rock, VA; 1-Sister            Sandra Lynn and husband Paul David Mullins, Big Rock, VA; 3-Brothers: Jimmy Darrell and wife Rebecca Stiltner, Maxie, VA, Randall Lewis and wife Jennifer Kim Stiltner, Vansant, VA, Mark Steven and wife Drema Kay Stiltner, Mouthcard, KY.  Also, survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 1-Sister Melissa Denise Stiltner.

Funeral Services for SHERRY ANN STILTNER HURLEY will be conducted Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evgs. Sam Casebolt and Jim Hill officiating with burial to follow in  Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Wesley Stiltner, Coty Stiltner, Matthew Stiltner, Brandon Stiltner, Billy Thacker, Cory Goodson, Jason Plymal, and Jonathan Good.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Logan Plymal, Landon Plymal, Bradley Stiltner, Isaac Coleman, and Tyler Blake Goodson.
