SHERRY MAY JUSTUS, 55 years of age of Hurley, VA, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN, following an extended illness. Born in Michigan, she was the daughter of Barbara Robinson Justus Tesarz of Michigan and the late Earl Justus. She was a resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was of the Church of God faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Junior Smith, June 19, 1999.

Mrs. Justus is survived by 2-Daughters: Michelle Elaine Smith and husband Ronnie Joe Vanover, Hurley, VA, Sandra Lynn Smith and husband Jeffery Allen Young, Hurley, VA, 1-Son: Michael Kermit Smith, Hurley, VA, 2-Sisters: Brenda and husband Scotty Stiltner, Richlands, VA, Lisa Justus, Texas, 1-Brother: Jeff Justus, Detroit, MI

Also, survived by 3-Grandchildren: Britney Lynn Young, Marcus Lee Vanover and Ronnie Junior Vanover, several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services for SHERRY MAY JUSTUS will be conducted Friday, July 15, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the New Beginning Church in Jesus Name with Revs. Donnie Prater, Wilbur Dotson and Doug Blankenship officiating with burial to follow in the May Branch Cemetery on the Left Fork of Paw Paw, near Hurley, VA.

Friends may call at the New Beginning Church in Jesus Name Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
