SHIRLEY LOUISE CLEVINGER DAWSON, 70 years of age of the Convict Hollow of Maxie, VA, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late David and Marie Branham Clevinger. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the Harman Memorial Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a Butcher at the Harman Company Store.

Mrs. Dawson was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dawson, December 1992.

She is survived by her boyfriend, Frank Hankins, Big Rock, VA, 2-Sons: David Paul and wife Tammy Lynn Dawson, Grundy, VA, Thomas Todd and wife Tonya Renee Dawson, Bristol, VA

Also, survived by 5-Grandchildren: Angeline Estes, Courtney Nicole Dawson, Katelyn Brooke Dawson, Ashley Elizabeth Dawson and Joshua Adam Dawson; 2-Great-Grandchildren: Kaleb Estes and Raven Estes.

She was preceded in death by 1-Brother: Ronald Keith Clevinger.

Funeral Services for SHIRLEY LOUISE CLEVINGER DAWSON will be conducted Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Shea Shrader and Les Ketron officiating and Special Message by Joshua Adam Dawson with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church Monday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Doug Dotson, Chris Stacy, Russell Looney, Brandon McCowan, Josh Dawson, Reed Potter, Wade Charles and Men of the Harman Memorial Baptist Church.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Frank Hankins.
