TERRY MICHAEL FIFE, 54 years of age of Maxie, VA, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of Lon and Margaret Yates Fife, Maxie, VA. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the Harman Memorial Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and was a disabled Coal Miner.

Mr. Fife is survived by his wife, Patricia Stump Fife, Maxie, VA, His parents: Lon and Margaret Yates Fife, Maxie, VA, 2-Sons: Michael and wife Tonya Fife, Abingdon, VA, Rajni Fife, Maxie, VA, 1-Brother: Jeffery and wife Margaret Fife, Cocoa Beach, FL, 2-Grandchildren: Katelyn Fife, Abingdon, VA, Dalton Fife, Abingdon, VA

Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents: Finis and Vertie Yates, and Paternal Grandparents: French and Iva Fife.

Funeral Services for TERRY MICHAEL FIFE will be conducted Monday, July 11, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church, Maxie, VA, with Rev. Shea Shrader officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Saturday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M., then moved to the Harman Memorial Baptist Church, Maxie, VA, Sunday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M. 

Active Pallbearers will be Kenny McClanahan, Allen Fields, Scotty Hurley, Ronald Stump, Bobby Moody, Charlie Stump, Brian Stiltner and Harold Hackney.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
