THOMAS DEWEY GIBSON, 70 years of age of Paynesville, WV, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 at his home following an extended illness. Born in McDowell County, WV, he was a son of the late Earnie and Nancy Belle Hagerman Gibson. He was a lifelong resident of McDowell County, WV, and was a retired Coal Miner.

Mr. Gibson is survived by his wife, Lana Hamilton Gibson, Paynesville, WV, 3-Daughters:    Nancy Gibson, Monroe, NC, Darlene Gibson Johnson, Monroe, NC, Jean Gibson Phillips, Harrisonburg, VA, 3-Sons: Jesse Earnest and wife Kelly Gibson, Monroe, NC, Tommy Gibson, Monroe, NC, Michael and wife Beth Gibson, Monroe, NC, 3-Sisters: Mary Keene, Ashtabula, OH, Dorothy Sparks, Jolo, WV, Jo Ann Rife, Ashtabula, OH, 2-Brothers: Arthur and wife Rebecca Gibson, Jolo, WV, William McArthur Gibson, Bartley, WV

Also, survived by 7-Step-Children, 10-Grandchildren, 7-Great-Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by 1-Brother: George Gibson.
