TIMOTHY DEAN LESTER, 37 years of age of the Race Fork Section of Hurley, VA, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, TN, following a lengthy illness. A lifelong resident of Hurley, VA, he was the son of Emzie and Lillie Ruth Duty Lester, Hurley, VA. He was a graduate of Hurley High School Class of 1991 where he played football and was of the Christian Faith.

He is survived by two very special children who were the light of his life, 1-Daughter: Courtney Paige Lester, Hurley, VA and 1-Son: Zachary Allen Lester, Hurley, VA, 2-Sisters: Rebecca Ann and husband Shawn Justus, Hurley, VA, Carol Sue and husband Danny Looney, Big Rock, VA, 1-Special Brother: Donald Lee Lester, Hurley, VA, 1-Very Special and Close Niece: Angela and husband Harte Whittle, Danville, VA, 2-Very Special and Close Nephews: Matthew Shawn Justus, Hurley, VA, Danny Looney, Big Rock, VA

Also, survived by Maternal Grandmother: Blanche Duty, Hurley, VA, Paternal Grandmother: Eunice Lester, Big Rock, VA, Special Aunt: Rachel Clifton, Oakwood, VA, Special Uncle: Earl B. Duty, Hurley, VA, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by 1-Brother: Jeffery Allen Lester, Maternal Grandfather: Clell Duty and Paternal Grandfather: Emzie Lester, Sr.

Funeral Services for TIMOTHY DEAN LESTER will be conducted Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kelsa Freewill Baptist Church on Paw Paw, near Hurley, VA, with Ministers: Ervin Hurley and Ronnie Hurley officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Kelsa Freewill Baptist Church Tuesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Danny Looney, Shawn Justus, Harte Whittle, Matthew Justus, Danny Looney II, Earl Duty, Andel Hurley, Jack Hurley, Ricky Ashby and Pat Justus.
