TIMOTHY DWAYNE BOWMAN, 42 years of age of the Convict Hollow section of Grundy, VA, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008.  Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of Herman K and Maudene Williamson Bowman, Grundy, VA. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was of the Protestant Faith. Mr. Bowman was a Graduate of Grundy Senior High School Class of 1983 and a former employee of United Coal Company.

Mr. Bowman is survived by His parents:   Herman K and Maudene Williamson Bowman, Grundy, VA, 2-Brothers: Kennith James and wife Donna Bowman, Grundy, VA, Gregory and wife Crystal Bowman, Oakwood, VA

Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by companion: Beverly Brown, Paternal Grandparents: Glenn & Ressie Bowman and Maternal Grandparents: Kenny Williamson & Emily McCoy.

Funeral Services for TIMOTHY DWAYNE BOWMAN will be conducted Monday, June 30, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers: Ronnie Sliger, Josh Bowman, Eddie Wilson and Bobby Ratliff officiating with burial to follow in Mudlick Cemetery on Convict Hollow Road, Maxie, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Sunday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be: Kevin Bowman, Bryan Bowman, Jeff Bowman, Matthew Shortridge, Brent Spivey and Billy Owens.
