VINCE DALE, 87 years of age of Hurley, VA, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.  Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Ruben Dale and Mary Wolford Dale Belcher.  He was a member of the Hurley Church of God and was a retired Barber for more than 50 years in Hurley and Grundy.   He was a graduate of the Richmond Barber College and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Mr. Dale is survived by a sister in law: Linda Belcher, Hurley, VA, Three nieces: Regina Belcher, Bluefield, WV, Robin Belcher, Grundy, VA, La Donna and husband Randal Nickels, Hurley, VA,

Great Nephews and Nieces: Joshua Nickels and Miranda Nickels, Great-Great niece and nephew: Skylar Meadows and Logan Thomas.

He is also survived by many close cousins.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather – Robert Lee Belcher, three brothers – Harold Dale, Max Alton Belcher and Robert L. Belcher Jr.

Funeral services for VINCE DALE will be conducted Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Blankenship and Ray Sawyers officiating with burial to follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park at Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday with services at the funeral home at 7:00 P.M.

Active pallbearers will be Fred McCracken, Randy Nickels, David Looney, Chris Hensley, Joshua Barrett and Chris Hubbard.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Henry Stiltner, Lee Stiltner, Carl McClanahan, Pastor Darrell Davis, Brandy Green, Members of the Hurley Church of God in Jesus Name, ICU Staff at Buchanan General Hospital and Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center.
