VIVIAN GEORGIA BLANKENSHIP, 39 years of age of Hurley, VA, passed away Friday, October 3, 2008, from injuries sustained in an Automobile Accident on State Route 641. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of James Blankenship, Hurley, VA, and the late Patty Blankenship. She was a resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was a wonderful Homemaker.

Ms. Blankenship is survived by 1-Daughter: Tonya Lynn Blankenship, Hurley, VA, 1-Son: James Dakota Gibbs, Hurley, VA, 2-Sisters: Patty May, Hurley, VA, Anna Lee Vansant, Clarksville, TN, 2-Grandsons: Thomas Logan Hurley, Hurley, VA, Devin Ray Justus, Hurley, VA

She was preceded in death by 1-Brother: James Blankenship and 1-Grandson: Braxton Gage Justus.

Funeral Services for VIVIAN GEORGIA BLANKENSHIP will be conducted Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bethel Baptist Church on Coon Branch, near Hurley, VA. Burial will follow in the Blankenship-Justus-Dotson Cemetery on Lester’s Fork, Hurley, VA.

Friends may call at the Bethel Baptist Church on Coon Branch near Hurley, VA, Monday afternoon at 4:00 P.M. with services Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be: Family and Friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Virginia State Police and the E.R. Staff of Buchanan General Hospital.
