Obituary for Mary Margaret Church
MARY MARGARET TURLEY CHURCH, 83 years of age of Sevierville, TN, formerly of Buchanan County, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN, following an extended illness. Born in Hurley, VA, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Jane Edna (Rife) Turley. She was a longtime resident of Buchanan County and was a member of New Zion Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, sister and friend and was a wonderful homemaker. She also enjoyed flowers and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Church; 2-Brothers: David Turley and William E. Turley.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Gladstone Turley of Vansant, VA; Special Friends: Jeanette Colley of Clintwood, VA, Page Burtrock of Sevierville, TN; Special Sisters-in-Law: Rosella Ratliff of Tazewell, VA, Madge Church of Grundy, VA.
Also, survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.
Funeral Services for MARY MARGARET TURLEY CHURCH will be conducted Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Kerr officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
