Obituary for Michael Hollie Scarberry
MICHAEL HOLLIE SCARBERRY, 48 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. Born in Flint, MI, he was the son of Lige McKinley Scarberry of Hurley, VA, and the late Linda (Daniels) Scarberry (May 24, 2018). He was a longtime resident of Buchanan County and was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather was a Blaster with Nelson Brothers.
In addition to his mother, Paternal Grandparents: Hollie and Grace Scarberry and Maternal Grandparents: Teddy Daniels Sr. and Birdie Daniels Justus.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Michelle (Quinley) Scarberry of Grundy, VA; his father, Lige McKinley Scarberry of Hurley, VA; 3-Children: Traci Dawn Quinley of Grundy, VA, Holli Grace Scarberry of Grundy, VA, Leeland Cole Scarberry of Grundy, VA; 2-Grandchildren: Amaris Jade Quinley and John Alec Zander Ratliff of Grundy, VA; 2-Brothers: Bradley (Madeline) Scarberry of Hurley, VA, Travis Scarberry (Fiancée Scylar Jones) of Princeton, WV; 1-Sister: Wanda Scarberry (Fiancé Jack Dotson) of Hurley, VA.
Also, survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services for MICHAEL HOLLIE SCARBERRY will be conducted Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Andy Maynard and Tommy Conn officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 6:00 P.M. with services Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M.
Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his many biker friends.
